Flag Point is a historically significant location in Port Blair, Andaman Islands. It's the place where Netaji Subash Chandra Bose first raised the Indian flag on Indian soil on December 30, 1943. At the time, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands were under British rule. Bose's act was a symbolic gesture of India's independence. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 150-foot-high Flag Point. It's located at 64°49′S 63°31′W, 0.3 nautical miles (0.6 km) east-southeast of Damoy Point.

Mount Harriet is a 365-meter high peak in the Andaman Islands. It's the second highest peak in the islands and the highest peak in South Andaman. It's also the highest peak in Port Blair. During the British Raj, Mount Harriet was the chief commissioner's summer retreat. It's now a popular tourist spot. Mount Harriet is 55 kilometers by road or 15 kilometers by ferry from Port Blair. You can reach Bambooflat from Port Blair by vehicle ferry, then take the road to Mount Harriet.

The Mount Harriet National Park is about 38 kilometers from Port Blair. The park is about 4,662 hectares in size. It has three types of forests: tropical evergreen, hilltop tropical evergreen, and littoral. There are 134 plant and tree species, including 74 native and 51 introduced species. The park has a forest guesthouse for those who want to spend the night. You can also visit Madhuban Beach, which used to be an elephant training camp.
